Thanks to its handy size and low weight this miniature
water treatment plant is the optimal solution for
solo travellers, day hikes or emergencies.
The
key part is again the Katadyn ceramic with a pore
size of 0,0002mm (0.2 micron). It reliably holds back
all pathogenic bacteria and protozoa such as: giardia,
cryptosporidium, salmonella, amoebas, e-coli etc.
With an easy single pumping mechanism water is turned
immediately into safe drinking water, retaining its
natural mineral content, without the need for boiling.
The used ceramic element can easily be cleaned by
brushing the surface with an abrasive pad. A measuring
gauge is provided to check the minimum diameter of
the ceramic element.
