Garmont men's Flash XCR features:
- Waterproof/breathable, stable, lightweight sport boots.
- Nimble enough to move very fast but stable enough for light overnight loads.
- Comfort enough for everyday wear and weather resistance for New England winters.
- Upper of 1.6 mm nubuck leather, non-stretch synthetic nubuck retention straps and throat trim with nylon mesh for light weight.
- Tongue with full gusset, LTP (Lateral Tongue Post - extra padding on lateral top of tongue), lace loop and silicon patch to keep tongue straight. Highly breathable mesh to compliment Gore-Tex XCR membrane.
- Molded nylon loop hardwear in the forefoot with nylon eyelets at the ankle.
- Gore-Tex® XCR lined for waterproofness and breathability.
- Removable footbed with: rear 1/2 firm EVA cradle, 4 mm EVA foam and hydrophobic polyester top skin
- Strobel lasted.
- TPR (Thermo Plastic Resin stronger than nylon) shank, 3 dimensional molded.
- Trimmed away at Heel strike for soft impact.
- Midfoot - Serious vertical, 3 dimensional cradle with accommodating Passive Guidance Grill on medial side for medial arch support.
- Longitudinal struts - thinned for easy flex.
- Medial/lateral struts - thickened for stability.
- EVA midsole for shock absorption.
- Vibram®/Garmont G3+ outsole for traction.
