Fabric: Timber Mackinaw wool, 25 oz. 100% virgin wool,
woven with a worsted wool warp for even greater strength
and water repellency
Lining: 100% Merino virgin wool,
13 oz. worsted twill serge finish
We use
Oil Finish Shelter Cloth (Otter Green) on the earflap
straps instead of the Hunter Green Merino wool because
the back of the strap is visible when the strap is threaded
through the buckles. The Hunter Green Merino wool would
stand out in glaring contrast to the Timber camouflage,
while the Otter Green Shelter Cloth blends in. We also
use the Shelter Cloth on the underside of the brim.
